Robert Clayton has taken over the top position in addition to assuming the duties of corporate secretary, Spherix announced Monday.? Spherix, based in Bethesda, Md., has been reviewing "strategic alternatives" for the business. The company said it will continue to pursue development and commercialization of its drug, food and medical technologies ? including food and nutritional technologies and supplements ? pending completion of its review.
Kruger will continue to lead the company she founded four years ago, Spherix Consulting, as a division of ChromaDex, Spherix said.
A natural products company, ChromaDex provides science-based solutions and ingredients to several industries, including the dietary supplement sector.
